It’s Snowing in Canada!

In 2022, I was calling my sister for some advice and she asked, “Do you want to come to New York?”.

Soon enough, my flights were booked and I was on my way that November. Upon booking flights, I realised my flight went through Vancouver, Canada.

I reached out to my old friend Serenity whom I had met while visiting family in East Timor. We had not seen each other for just over seven years but when she came to pick me up from my bed and breakfast in Hope it was as though no time had passed.

It’s rare for me to take my camera out when I’m not working. I walked out of my bed and breakfast to find this incredible view. I just had to take photographs. I went down to the water with my disposable camera and saw salmon swimming in the water. I was a little scared I would see a bear but I made it out alive!

Serenity and I went for a drive near her farm a few days later and we took my camera out and ran around in the snow. Can you feel the joy in these photos?
